Celebration Time!!

Yes...it's time to celebrate...

Today DH and I have been married for 30 years..
Which leads me to two thoughts...

Where are my pearls?
I'd have got less for murder...lol!

This is my card to him.

The celebration has been somewhat tempered by...me feeling like death warmed up since I had my flu jab on Saturday and the appalling events of Sunday afternoon....

I am seriously traumatised...to lose 1 - 6 is bad enough (and it's the worst defeat in my 40 + years of supporting) but to lose to City.....I was too numb to cry. Max did however get an extra long walk...he was happy.

A little good news today..I won another book for my Kindle..yay! Random number generators seem to like me at the moment. :)

So..in that spirit, I'll be back tomorrow (my birthday) with a giveaway...

Congratulations on 30 years! 30?! Blimey, you must have been a child bride!

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly again, and I guess last night's result didn't help :o(

Well done on your e-book win.

I had a feeling you might feel rough. My Dad came to tramp round Leeds Castle with us the day after his and I seriously thought he was going to pass out. He did look rough, kept saying he was fine - I knew damn well he wasn't. When he got home he phoned me up to say HE thought he was going to pass out while he was there. When talking to Craigs Mum she had been having similar symptoms a general feeling of unwellness and of 'not being there'. Hope you feel better soon. Must be in sympathy with you as we have all come down with the dreaded lurgy! Blech.

30 years eh? My, my! Will be 10 for me and Craig in April though we are living in sin still ;)

Hugs x x

p.s well done on the book win - I got an email last night to say I'd won a book, not an e-book, a paperback. Am well chuffed!

Congratulations on your win and surviving the rout :D. My brother in law had to spend the entire match with his mother sat next to him, laughing mercilessly(she supports the other side!!! just to annoy him and his dad)
Happiest of anniversaries to you! and even happier birthday for tomorrow :D XXX

Hi Susie, Happy Anniversary my friend.I love your card.
I am sorry about the defeat .... it was celebrations in my house lol ... hubby is an avid City supporter ... but my son was totally mortified as he is a Man U supporter so I get stuck in the middle lol ... me ? I support neither lol
Hugs and congrats and commiserations too my friend.
Before i disappear for another few days though,I want to say thank you my friend for coming by and commenting and supporting me. Things are so tough right now but i appreciate every comment and I know I cant comment often right now, but i will when things are easier
take care and have a happy Halloween week
