18th June:
The SS Great Britain as visited by DH and I in Bristol. The postcard is 3D but the effects are a bit lost in the photo.
I used the "Portobello Road" papers that came free with Creativity Magazine.
Gears cut with TH die from coke cans and coloured with alcohol inks. Title cut with Sizzix "Mango Tango" alpha.
Made for a paper rolling challenge on Flying Unicorn
25th June:
This was for a "Countdown to Summer" challenge on Flying Unicorn...we had a "shopping list" of items to use from 10 homemade flowers to 1 picture.
It took me four evenings to build it up but I had fun and used stamps and punches that rarely see the light of day!
I've almost finished the 2nd July LO......OK, it was posted yesterday as there's a 24 Hour Blog Hop on Flying Unicorn today.......a Vagabond machine is the grand prize!!

Wow! so much to look at on these 2 layouts...great colour matching on the vintage postcard one :D XXX
These are both beautiful, but the second one is sooooooo pretty and romantic! Valerie
Ooooh, loving your red white and blue layout :) We were in Bristol recently and I was chuffed to see the suspension bridge (it had been many years) even if we were hopelessly lost at the time and the driver wasn't impressed with my enthusiasm!!!
Your second layout is fab! Love all the layers - four evenings worth! Wow! Love the country feel to it.
Hugs Carole xxx
Absolutely gorgeous Susie - love it!
Beautiful LO's, they'reboth so different. How lovely to find that vintage postcard and be able to use it in a LO.
