Monday again...sigh..
Here's my take on the sketch from 2nd July:
This was for a "Movie Night" challenge on Flying Unicorn - the LO title had to be a quote from a film.
This one is from "Casablanca"....Rick to Ilse..."We'll always have Paris".
I used a variety of French themed papers from my stash, used postage stamps,a variety of flowers, embellies by K&CO and a Crafty Individuals acetate showing the Eiffel Tower.
My second entry has a quote from "Now Voyager":
"..don't let's ask for the moon. We have the stars."
I used scraps (sadly all that remains..) of "Blue Awning" by K&CO, buttons and pearls from stash, chippies by Imaginarium and Kaisercraft plus a pair of wings .
The image is one of my favourite paintings.."Night with Her Train of Stars".
It was only after doing the LOs that I realised both films are from 1942...obviously a good year for films!
And don't all faint....I've made a start on Christmas.....also for a challenge on Flying Unicorn........I'll show you the results in a few days...:)

Lovely LOs, and yes, some of the old films were really good, in comparison to some of the sh*t they do today! Valerie
Oh Susie they are lovely and I won't faint but could do with someone helping with an idea for Christmas cards, last years were sarcastic and I liked that LOL!
I too am down to only two pieces of blue awning and this is my second pack LOL.
Love both your LO's Sue !! I love all the fab layers of the first one and then the colours of the second !! Just FAB !!
hugs Diane xx
X for Max !!
I've had to start thinking about Christmas seeing as my sister has demanded we all update our wishlists and NOT BUY anything off them from now till Christmas!! Say whaaaaaa? She's doing all her shopping because in her eyes it's only 6 paydays to go! Again. Say whaaaaaa? Am so behind this year - I've usually got a few bits in but so far just have a teddy for the baby! AAaaaaaargh! But it does mean I get to think about Secret Santa again! Hmmm!
Loving these LO's the blue one almost has an under the sea feel to it. I love old films, snuggled up on the sofa watching them - can't beat it.
These are fabulous layouts Sue! Love all the layering and that's great that you can make a start on Christmas. I am such a seasonal scrapper. Have a great day! Hugs XX
