What's Rocking My World Friday

And it is actually Friday....gasps of amazement all round...

So what is rocking my world at the moment?

The snow....I don't have to go out in it (yet) and it looks so pretty...winter has finally arrived. And when I do go out I can wear my new snow boots.

Ebay....my Gelli plate has arrived and I'm planning to get messy with paint this afternoon.

Amazon.com....for providing me with some new punches to play with..I had a $25 gift voucher to spend...can't buy books for Kindle from USA so I did the next best thing...

Daytime T.V. ...BBC 1 has started showing some rather good dramas in the 14:15 slot....last week it was all about the final group of men/boys conscripted into National Service; this week and next it's "Father Brown".
In "Un Village Francais" (TV 5 Monde) we've reached Nov. 1942....have two more episodes of this series to watch.
On the same channel I happened across a contemporary drama series, "Les Soucis et  Les Hommes" which provided a slightly surreal moment..I'd missed the start of the episode so hadn't heard the theme tune....it was Annie Lennox singing "Angels From the Realms of Glory"....weird!

Quiz night....we didn't win last night but it was fun...and we have a double helping this week as we're going to a Charity Quiz on Saturday evening....our team of 4/5 will be seven strong....and one of the "extras" knows his music... yay!!

Man. Utd....despite not playing that well we're top of the Premiership and through to Round 4 of the FA Cup. I can't remember how much we paid for Robin Van Persie, but he's worth every penny.

The return of the mojo....it's wonderful to be crafting again....have more ideas than time but that's a good thing ...I think...
Here's my latest LO..

I stamped the background using Pink Paislee "Butterfly Garden" stamps, made the tags from the packaging of said stamps, scraps of paper from the same collection and random embellies. This is one of my all time favourite collections....and I'm literally down to scraps...:(

The Hairy Dieters....I made their chilli this week....very,  very moreish...I did give DH a laugh though..I described it as looking "manly" as it was cooking...well, I knew what I meant!

FB....for the friends I've made on there and for the offers...everyone will be getting a Shamballa bracelet for Christmas this year....how organised am I??? In a similar vein I've just bought a Groupon for a visit to a winery near Henley...should be an interesting day out...

I think that's it..I'm off to link up to Virginia's  post...thanks for visiting and have a great weekend whatever you're doing.

oh a fab list - we've got snow and it's still falling at the moment, very light - not sure what'll be like in the morning!

I still haven't got my gelli plate out to play with (yet) might get chance in a bit!

Oh crafting goodies always a positive and decent daytime TV a rarity these days!

And finally loving that layout - simply beautiful - I'm glad your mojo has returned!

What a lovely Rocking post, Susie. Grant approves of 'manly' dinners - I saw that one being made on the tv and it looked yum!

Lovely lovely LO, and I agree with K about the background, it's very effective and looks great.

Enjoy the snow (even though it ruined my night out last night *grumble grumble*!!)!

Lovely layout and a great background! I was in Bishop Auckland just the other day! It has changed an awful lot - the soul is right out of the town centre at the moment as a lot of the big retailers have moved out to a new retail park near West Auckland. Sorry I made you feel homesick!!! Happy Saturday, jenxxx
