What's Rocking Your World Friday on Saturday

Only 24  hours late......

So what has been rocking my world...

My mojo is back ..and although I've mainly been working with Christmas photos I've also made some cards......and Jo....they are birthday cards...most of my family have b'days early in the year.
I may even get to Scrap Club this month!!

Having the boy home over Christmas was lovely...I'm pleased he's got a job but wish he'd had more time off over the holidays. It didn't help that I couldn't get in touch with him over New Year......a misplaced phone was to blame but I'm sure other Mums can imagine what I was thinking when I hadn't heard from him since Friday 28th, not even a text to say "Happy New Year"....finally got through on Thursday!

Weight Watchers...I've signed up to do this online again.....put 2lbs on first week...I don't think Christmas was a good time to start somehow! But have lost them back to square one.
I found the Hairy Dieters book in my was on my wishlist, so that was good and I'm looking forward to trying their recipes....the chilli they made last night and the quiche with filo pastry looked yummy.

Music....I discovered Lady Antebellum just before Christmas and since I had an MP3 credit from Amazon I downloaded one of their non-Christmas albums....I just need to get it onto my player now...why do I never find techy things easy?

Darcy's Artful Readers Club.....this will give me the kick start that I need to clear the pile of books beside the bed....I've already started # 1 ..well, I've read the intro. which explained how the translator chose the dialect for the Sicilian bits....and therefore figured out where the American translator went my humble opinion anyway.

And last, but not least, the girls in our WW group on FB.
We had a mass live chat last Friday.....due to different typing rates there were at least a dozen conversations going was hilarious and really, really good to talk to everyone. ROCK!

Glad your week rocked! I can imagine how worried you were not being able to contact your son, glad everything was okay. Good luck with the diet! Hugs, Valerie

YAY, Susie's back with a Rocking post!!

I saw Hairy Bikers on the tv last night and they made the chilli and the filo quiche - it all looked yummy so I'll be interested to hear how you get on with those recipes. Luke bought me a Lady Antebellum cd last year and I love it! I'm glad you finally managed to make contact with 'the boy' - I know just how you will have felt :/

That WW FB chat was madness and such fun - we'll have to try and do it again sometime soon.

Have a great week,

Happy New Year Susie! Oh gosh - how worrying not to hear from son all that time - gawd I bet you were a nervous wreck! I was sad mine didnt have longer home especially as I was so ill at Christmas - we have been skyping though which is fab - no 2 sons birthday was 2nd Jan and I still managed to see him and chat which was awesome.
Good luck with the WW how fab to have that on line support too. Decs are down now and all the bad stuff chucked away so I am trying to get back to my healthier lifestyle which had slipped so much the last few months.
I too have a reading pile but sounds much more light weight in comparison to yours - I did read David Walliams book over the new year and found that interesting with some LOL moments.
Yay to the return of the MoJo - mine went awol early December and has finally returned. I have a week off work to play now :) Your scrapbook LO are always so good - scrapbooking is def something I want to do more in 2013 xx

Hope this year brings much love, laughter and friendship sweet girl xxx Hugs Janet

Oh you're back I'm loving that, glad DS is safe and well and yes that must have been most stressful for you!

Glad your mojo is still here, how fabulous is that! Mine keeps dipping a little.

Weight watchers - starting day 1 today - would you believe I'm trying to do it Jamie styley - will let you know how I get on!

I'm struggling to 'fit in' reading time at the moment, must remedy that!

And yes that chat on facebook was crazy madness but much fun and yes we should arrange for that again some time soon!

Have a fabulous week ahead

You're back, you're back :-)

Am doing half hour or so of reading before lights out of an evening and my kindle tells me I'm 80% through my January book at the most... Though am stumped thus far on the creative side of the challenge.

Yay to the return of the mojo! Can't wait to see more of your creations!

Let me know what you think of the Hairy Bikers book? I might add it to my birthday wish list :-)

Hugs from one we to another x x x
