A Random Post

What to do when you're woken up at 03:30 and can't get back to sleep?
Do a blog post of course!

I do have some crafty stuff to share...

Friday's snow was very timely as one of this month's challenges was to do a winter themed LO. We had to add snow to the LO (I used structure paste and a Dylusions mask) and add something unexpected (paw prints, bone brads).

I used Bo Bunny "Winter Joy" papers and stickers .
Title and word stickers are Echo Park.

Next up is a birthday card made with Graphic 45 "Bird Song" papers.

I love Graphic 45 but always had problems using their papers until I realised that they're best used cut up....there's just too much going on to use them 12 x 12.

I hope to be back Friday with my "Rocking" post.....

Totally agree about graphic 45 sheets, best to find an image or part of a sheet to use rather than a whole thing, but arent they gorgeous! Plus, it would be sacrilege to waste any by covering it up.

Beautiful card, absolutely love it.

Susie did you really do that post at 3.30 in the morning - you crazy lady, actually Max is definitely crazier for wanting to be outside at that time! Loving the layout and the card!

I have never bought the graphic 45 because it was too overbearing for my liking..never thought of cutting it up LOL

Gorgeous, gorgeous birthday card. I love G45 but wouldn't have a clue how to use it!

Love both of these projects Sue :) It's funny because when I was out dog walking I noticed how the snow looked slightly lilac, but I wouldn't have thought to use lilac on a snowy layout, but I love it!

I have never had any Graphic 45 papers, but I can see what you mean, they are very pretty but very busy. You did a great job with your card though, it's so pretty.

Hope you get a good nights sleep soon! Big hugs Carole xxx

Great photos of Max checking out his snowy garden - I really like the texture paste 'snow' and Max's footprints :)

The bird images are perfect to go on the G45 paper, the card is really pretty.

ps I hope you don't get woken up at that time too often!
