Return of the Mojo

Last week was a weird one...I had lovely papers, photos, sketches etc. but just couldn't settle or summon up the energy...

We had our Jubilee street party...in the pouring rain...but it was still fun..

We went to the quiz....joint leaders at one time we finished up, not last but close...this time it was action figures from TV/Films....too long since we've watched that sort of thing...sigh

I spent the day in Bristol with the boy....and got cold and very wet...again....
I'd had enough after a couple of hours....I hate shopping....
I managed to get to one of the craft shops and did a little bit of stash shopping...:)
We found the other one (all three floors of it) on our way back to meet up with DH....and I didn't even have the energy to cross the road and go in......so not me.
I enjoyed seeing the boy and taking him to lunch..he had to dash off before we could take him to dinner (DH's alleged "30 mins" of work, actually took seven and a half hours). It was Vicki's final exhibition and he couldn't miss that.
We didn't get home until 20:30.....and then went out to eat...

I managed to make a baby boy card over the weekend....thanks to Virginia for the mini kit...:)

I started a challenge LO over the weekend too...and finally finished it last night

I used scraps of Kaisercraft and Webster's pages plus buttons and a butterfly from stash and flowers by Prima,Petaloo,Manor House.
The tickets were cut with a TH die and stamped using Unity stamps.
Photo is DH's paternal grandparents and their four children.
DH  only ever met one of his uncles as the family (apart from DH's father) moved to the USA after WW2.
The sketch is by Kristine Davidson of Creative Scrappers

I have lots more challenges to do and am also going to Scrap Club on Friday (first time since February)...so will hopefully have more to show you soon

No Tag Tuesday as the theme was "Camping"......I don't do camping!

I love that LO! The papers are reminiscent of old wallpaper, you know when we used to redecorate and find 4 layers of old paper underneath :D...and I don't think any one in their right mind shoukld be camping in this weather either lol :D XXX

Very fun filled post! Sorry about the rain. In New Jersey we are having the same weather!! It doesn't stop raining!
Nice to go out with the boy! My oldest son is over 6 feet tall. My husband is only 5'10". so he towers over both of us too! The little one has a long time left to grow, I bet he will be taller than his dad too!
Lovely card and that page is fantastic!
