This week I haven't used a Mojo Monday sketch but one from Twisted Sketches..
I used papers, paint, lace and flowers from the June Kit @ Flying Unicorn.
I made the sign myself from chipboard using a TH die.
Anyhoo..the photos are of the statue of King Alfred in Wantage. We weren't overly impressed with the town but it did have a couple of things going for it...a wonderful second hand bookshop and The Stamp Attic. I'd spotted an ad in Craft Stamper for the shop, hence the visit.....DH was given a chair while I browsed.....I wasn't that long...honest!!

Lovely LO. Love how you made the sign! I never went to Wantage, all I know is the limerick:
There once was a lady of Wantage,
Of whom the town clerk took advantage.
Said the borough surveyor,
You really must pay'er,
You've totally altered her frontage!
Have agood day, hugs, Valerie
Wow...why don't all craft shops have an area for hubbies? Like the bi shopping centres have creches for the kiddies lol :D When I first read your sign, I thought "wantage" was a new word for Wish list lol...think I am going to use it as that from now on :D XXX
I love that hanging sign :D and the strips of paper too!
Hi Sue
A fabulous layout
Hugs Dianne xx :)
Very nice layout - love the different pattern paper you used - great way to get rid of scraps which I have tons lol tfs!!!
Great sign (and I love Gina's new 'Wantage' word for a wishlist!!).
At least Wantage had The Stamp Attic (you 'happened' to spot their ad in Craft Stamper......ie you scoured the ads columns and the internet for stamping shops in a 50 mile radius of Wantage!!!).
xx
Gorgeous colour scheme
gorgeous page Susie and I agree no you shouldn't have to use flash in June!
