The theme for this week is "Books".
I chose a book that has been a favourite of mine since I was about 10, "Pied Piper" by Nevil Shute.
Set in WW2 it tells the story of an Englishman (middle-aged as I remember it) trapped in France by the German invasion. As he journeys through France to the coast (and a boat home) he's joined by various abandoned/orphaned children - hence the title.
I've lost track of how often I've read and re-read this. The original copy belonged to my parents. I know I bought my own copy...but can't find it..so downloaded it to my Kindle...time for a re-read methinks.
And here is my other crafty work for the weekend - yes, the jigsaw has now taken over the whole of my craft table - thankfully it's almost finished...I may even do some myself to speed the process up!!
The pictures are from our outing to Henley last Thursday.
Patterned papers by Martha Stewart.
Die cuts by SEI
Title and border of ducks were cut on Cricut using "Don Juan" and "Nate's ABCs".
It's my turn to choose where we go this week but I can't think of anywhere....any suggestions?
