Penny's ATC Challenge - March

This month I've gone for something a little bit different and have made a "chunky" ATC.

I picked up a couple of ATC sized canvases (complete with stands) at The Works in Banbury last week.
I primed the canvas with gesso and then used acrylic paints for the sky and the grass.
The lambs were in a bag of baby boy embellishments and the bird and branch are eyelets.
I used raffia for the stalk and leaves and then a daffodil head from a MacMillan Nurses badge.
The title "March" came from "Home Words" 1883-84.

I'm still not getting much PC time so apologies if I haven't visited your blog recently and for the absence of Rocking posts.
Hopefully normal service will resume soon.

This ATC is PERFECT for March! The lambs are starting to appear in the fields, they look so sweet. The birds are chirping (and getting very silly) and building nests. The daffodils are springing up all over the place, shouting SPRING!

What a happy ATC this is. I like it done on a canvas too.
